1. Organiser and scope
The organiser is Omid Efazat, Gartenfelder Str. 52, 13599 Berlin, Germany, email: [email protected]. These participation terms supplement the Mattly terms and conditions. Kronen are a loyalty program for activity in Mattly, not a prize draw; chance plays no role.
2. No involvement of third parties
Apple, Amazon, MediaMarkt and our voucher partner Tremendous are neither organisers nor sponsors of this program and are not involved in it in any way.
3. Who can take part
Anyone with a Mattly account can collect Kronen (for age rules see § 3 of the terms). You can only redeem vouchers if you have Mattly Plus, are at least 18 years old, live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (country in your profile), your account is at least 14 days old and has an email address, and there is no fair play ban on your account.
4. What Kronen are
Kronen are virtual points. They are not money or e-money, have no monetary value and cannot be bought, paid out, sold, gifted or transferred to other accounts. Kronen are only awarded for your own activity verified by our server.
5. Earning Kronen
Currently: 5 Kronen for the daily sign in and 25 extra on every 7th consecutive day; 10 for the puzzle of the day; 10 for a win and 4 for a draw in rated games; 2 each for the first 5 counted games per day (rated or unrated games from matchmaking and Daily games with at least 4 plies, no games against friends); 15 when you complete all 3 daily goals; at the end of each league season 300, 200 or 100 Kronen for places 1 to 3 of each division, multiplied by the league factor (Pawn 1, Knight 1.25, Bishop 1.5, Rook 2, Queen 2.5, King 3).
Per day (in your local time) you can earn at most 40 Kronen, with Mattly Plus at most 80. League rewards and "Invite friends" rewards do not count toward this limit. The app and the website show the current values.
6. Invite friends
You get a personal invitation link. If an invited person creates a new account via your link or code (or adds the code within 72 hours after signing up) and finishes 3 counted games with at least 4 plies that are not played against you, you both get 300 Kronen.
If the invited person buys Mattly Plus for money for the first time (a free trial does not count), you get 2,000 Kronen for a yearly subscription or Lifetime and 700 Kronen for a monthly subscription; the invited person gets 500 Kronen.
Only one reward per device. Your own accounts do not count (same account, same email address or same device). Rewards for sign ups from the same network and more than 10 rewards per month are reviewed by hand before they are credited. Do not spread your link as spam, through paid advertising or with misleading statements.
7. Shop
In the shop you can exchange Kronen for designs and bundles (prices in the shop), for "1 month Plus" for 10,000 Kronen (30 days of Plus added after any running Plus; not alongside Lifetime) and for vouchers. Legendary designs can only be acquired and used with Mattly Plus. Exchanged designs and Plus days cannot be returned unless they are defective.
8. Vouchers
Currently there are digital vouchers from Amazon.de and MediaMarkt: €10 for 12,000 Kronen and €25 for 28,000 Kronen. Only Kronen older than 14 days count. You can redeem at most 2 vouchers in 30 days.
When you redeem, we reserve the Kronen immediately. We review every redemption by hand. Vouchers have a monthly budget. If it is used up, your redemption goes on a waitlist and is reviewed in the following month in the order received; the Kronen stay reserved until then. If we reject a redemption, you get the Kronen back.
After approval, our partner Tremendous sends you the voucher by email to your account's address. The issuer's terms apply to using the voucher (for example the Amazon.de gift card terms). If a voucher is permanently unavailable, we offer you an equivalent other voucher or return the Kronen.
9. Fair play and abuse
Anyone who cheats, manipulates games, uses several accounts, invites themselves or otherwise abuses this program can be excluded from Kronen, rewards and vouchers. We withdraw Kronen and rewards obtained through abuse. We may refuse vouchers not yet delivered. For vouchers obtained by fraud we may claim compensation.
10. Validity of Kronen
Kronen do not expire as long as your account exists. All Kronen lapse when your account is deleted or terminated for good cause.
11. Changes and end of the program
We may change values, daily limits, shop prices, the range of designs and vouchers and the partners with effect for the future if there is a valid reason (for example abuse, costs or availability at partners). We announce changes that make redeeming Kronen already earned less favourable at least 30 days in advance in the app or on the website. We may end the program with 30 days' notice; until the end you can redeem your Kronen under the rules then in force, and we will still process redemptions already requested.
12. Liability and data protection
Liability is governed by § 14 of the terms. How we process your data for Kronen, invitations and vouchers is described in the privacy policy; to deliver a voucher we pass your display name and email address to Tremendous.
